Between Béja and Joumine, in the Bizerte region of Tunisia, Med Khalil Bouani built VAGA TERRA from the ground up.
In 2015, he planted the olive trees that would become the foundation of approximately 45 hectares of olive groves.
Today, he remains personally involved throughout the journey — cultivating the trees, overseeing the harvest and taking part in the milling and extraction of the oil.
From the grove to the oil, VAGA TERRA stays close to its origin.

Farmer. Olive grower. Producer.
He did not inherit a grove. He planted one.
VAGA TERRA is the beginning of a story — not the continuation of one.
Khalil Bouani is the owner of the olive groves, the person who cultivates the trees and the person who personally oversees the production of the oil. He is the first in his family to establish an olive-growing business.
What began with land and trees became a commitment to producing an oil that reflects their character.
The name speaks of the life of nature — the bond between the land, the olive trees and the natural cycle that gives us olive oil.

Our olive groves extend between Béja and Joumine, in Tunisia's Bizerte region.
The land and local growing conditions are particularly suited to Chetoui, allowing the variety to express its distinctive character.
A distinctive Tunisian olive variety.
VAGA TERRA produces both 100% Chetoui extra virgin olive oil and blended olive oils.
For Khalil, Chetoui was a natural choice — a variety particularly well suited to the land and growing conditions of his olive groves. Its expression is distinctive, with a rich and fresh olive character.

VAGA TERRA's harvest usually takes place at the end of October — earlier than the more traditional harvest period, which can extend toward the end of November.
The philosophy is simple: prioritize quality and character rather than simply maximizing quantity.
The olives are processed on the same day as harvesting, keeping the journey from olive to oil as short as possible.
